A new lot comes with no water in the ground
Builders stub a water line to the house and grade the lot flat. Past the sliding door there is no irrigation at all, no valves, no zones, no drip, nothing running to the beds or the future lawn. Water rebates in Southern California
Many Southern California water agencies offer rebates for water-saving upgrades like drip conversion, smart WiFi controllers, and turf replacement, often through regional programs such as the Metropolitan Water District and SoCal Water$mart. Programs, dollar amounts, and eligibility rules change from year to year and vary by agency, so we do not promise a specific amount or guarantee approval. Our process
We start with a site walk to see the lot, note the water stub and pressure, and go over the planting plan, existing or proposed, so the irrigation matches the beds, trees, and turf areas. From there we design the zones, size the valves and lines, and lay out drip and spray so each area gets the right water. We install the mainline, valves, lateral lines, drip, and heads before planting and hardscape close things off, tie in a smart controller, then test and tune every zone. We finish with a walkthrough so you know your zones, your schedule, and how to run the controller from your phone.
